Every once in a while, a book is published that feels like an opening - a possibility. Lore Ferguson Wilbert's "Handle with Care: How Jesus Redeems the Power of Touch in Life and Ministry" feels like an open door to my soul. I was pleased to be able to write a book review for my "hometown church" blog - for The Evangelical Free Church - and you can read my take on the book, as well as that of a few others, right here I encourage you to consider the case "Handle with Care" makes about the importance of connection. Lore refuses to allow us to take the easy way out, to simply throw the baby out with the bath water. She patiently takes us to the Scriptures to show us time and time again the clear example of Christ. Check it out! I would love to hear your thoughts after you read it!
